In January 1994, Victoria Crosby was named Glen Cove’s poet laureate, an honorary position, bestowed on her by then Glen Cove Mayor Tom Suozzi. Over the past twenty-five years she has written and read poems for many organizations and individuals in the community. A collection of those poems PoeticVic-CivicPoet, 1994-2019, is now in the process of being published, and members of the community have the opportunity to become patrons of the arts by helping to underwrite the cost
